Our Restaurant

We have the capacity to seat 150 guests and the expertise from our kitchen chefs to ensure that everybody enjoys their meal and the experience of dining at Mother Hubbard’s. For the comfort of our guests we have air conditioning and of course Mother Hubbard’s is a no-smoking establishment. We are licensed and stock a fine selection of wine, beers and spirits.

Lift access to the 1st floor is available and a Stannah chairlift from the 1st floor to the 2nd where the washroom facilities are situated.

Group Bookings

For groups of 6 people or more we strongly advise that you book in advance. We are able to cater for children’s birthday parties, day trip coach parties, funeral teas and other large gatherings. Please contact the managers directly and we shall do our utmost to cater to your specific requirements, tailored to the occasion.

About Us

Established in 1993, Mother Hubbard’s is owned and run by the Bradley family, namely Stephen and the late Anne Bradley, fondly known to their regular customers. Their two daughters, Rebecca and Annabelle, now supervise the daily running of the business and at least one of them is guaranteed to be on site during all opening hours should you wish to speak to them personally.
